Annalise had quite the jet-setting weekend! No sooner had she arrived home from her visit in Vancouver that I packed her into another suitcase and off we went to London, UK! I met up with fransgaard, GabrielVH, Jezatron, cookiedude_2332, Pink_Blaise and JRuzzy on Monday evening, at The Light Bar in Shoreditch for drinks and dinner. GabrielVH and I had brought Dollfie Dreams with us to our last outing in July, but the restaurant was very small and crowded so our girls didn’t get to come out of their bags! This time fransgaard helped us pick a more spacious location and the venue was actually fantastic. Fransgaard picked the Light Bar because I had mentioned that a space with lots of natural light would be fantastic, but the time we brought out our DD’s it had gotten dark! >__<” My little point-and-shoot camera is awful at night so I didn’t take a many photos as I would have liked. *sigh* Despite the lack of pictures, we had a lovely evening – and the DD girls in attendance were GabrielVH’s Moe, my Annalise (DD Rise Kujikawa), Jezatron’s Ryomou, JRuzzy’s Haruka Niimi and Pink_Blaise’s Inari (DD Neris).
I had a minor fashion emergency when I unpacked Annalise at the hotel – I had transported her in 2 pieces so that she would fit in my carry-on suitcase and somehow when I switched luggage her skirt got left behind at home! >__<” Luckily fransgaard came to the rescue by bringing a cute pair of Mai Little Alien jeans for her to wear. They are so much more stylish than my backup plan of crafting her a sarong with a bar napkin!
They are very snug and short so Annalise was laying around most of the evening so that she wasn’t flashing her bum to the passers-by in the bar.

This is Jezatron’s gorgeous Ryomou! I pointed him in the right direction so that he could adopt this rare and beautiful girl a few months ago, but it was my first time getting to meet her!

This is JRuzzy’s adorable Haruka Nimii. Isn’t she cute with this short blonde wig? He made all of her awesome outfit pieces himself and it was very interesting chatting with him about sewing, fabric and other fashion geekery. I loved the pretty white summer dress she was wearing under all her layers.

Pink_Blaise brought her new girl, Inari, out to meet everyone. The red wig she was wearing was beautiful and very soft.

GabrielVH and I showed her the magic of the secret arm joint in the DD2 body (yay – she can touch her face now!) and I helped her remove Inari’s default eyes. The glue came out in one neat little “goggle” and it was very easy since DD Neris has the soft vinyl head. We tried on a couple pairs of eyes and decided that these pretty green Twin-Snow eyes suited her best.
Moe’s outfit was very cute – the little blue and white gingham-check dress and her red shoes looked very much like Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz!

Moe and Annalise’s sculpts show how completely different Dollfie Dreams can look. Moe’s face is very anime-styled with her big doe-eyes and tiny nose, where Annalise has smaller eyes, a more realistic nose and natural lips.
It was wonderful to see everyone again, and to meet JRuzzy! I know it was a bit awkward for everyone to come out on a Monday evening after work, but I really appreciate that you took the time to come out! Next time I promise not to sleep through my snooze alarm! -__-”
